The testing looks amazing gives some confidence. I am currently checking to see what is out there, by the way the wheel test while spinning is one I am interested in I'm 165-Kg and am keen to see if wheel can handle speed under load going at 250-KM per hour. Yes it sounds ridiculous but I need to know wheel can handle the speed under load, I haven't even considered braking as I'm sure I can sit up and get bike speed down to 110-KPH. I also will need to know if these wheel sets exist on a serial production bike, not a prototype. I have a motorway near by 253 meter altitude between top and bottom, hill section is 3,000 meters long, hard pack small chip seal. Grade 8.43%, acceleration 0.82M/S, acceleration drag adjusted 0.52M/S, CFD 0.25, X-Section 1.2M, Air Pressure 99.9Kpa (NTP), pedal power 1,000 watts + for 5-secs, can use run up from other side of hill so hit start line at 40KPH+ and then apply 1,000 watts plus pedal power to get speed to 100-KPH plus in under 20 seconds or 460 meters of travel, so over 2,000 meters to get to 210.5 KPH and 500-meter run off to flat. In any instance I'm comfortable braking to reduce speed to 110-KPH on hill transition to flat as it's a 3 lane motorway with no cat eye's at transition area. Note: Current Serial Production Unpaced Bicycle Record is 210.4KPH, I'm a heavy, crazy bastard that loves speed and bikes. If someone can validate my calculations I'm open for an attempt to give record a nudge. I don't speak Chinese and concept is in it's infancy, is there a contact person at wheel assembly where they did load test?

Hot wax = clean, loud, short living. Oil = dirty, silent for 10x more distance travelled with dry condition but require a lot of cleaning. On MTB I start hearing the chain after 40km in dry conditions. 100km is max between reapplying hotwax. With regular oil based lube chain is quiet for 300km in dry conditions.

Winspace wheels are a typical example of getting what you pay for. Creaking sounds included. No thanks.

Thanks for a very interesting video. Couldn't help noticing this: 13:26: lady in Winspace's own factory is wearing double gloves while handling epoxy prepreg. 31:19 lady in 3rd party frame factory is not using any gloves at all while handling prepreg. Wonder if this is some new type of prepreg ;-)

They need an endurance frame! With threaded BB, external cables and 40 mm tyre clearance guess what - they will dominate the mass market. With race frames, it's not the case. Personally, I will buy two, for myself and my dad. Riding their pair of wheels for 3 seasons now, very satisfied.

I simply found fascinating your adventure and spent this evening following the last stages of the Haute Route Alps on your videos, sharing your passion and your sensations throughout the days you spent there. As a "cycling fanatic" I remembered my times over some of the climbs but that was nothing compared to the speed you were able to climb with and the results you have been able to achieve. You have improved massively from what I can see and I am happy about what you have been able to achieve. We crossed our path a few times back when you were spending time in LA but unfortunately never had the chance to cycle together. Maybe one day. Till then thanks for your fantastic videos and to the motivation you bring to all the ones who spend time watching your stories.

Lun Hyper 2023 R45 owner here. These wheels are insanely fast! Not to mention they are aerodinamically properly designed. I've taken these on quite a few fast descents with crosswinds and I was hesitant of the F-RAPID design, I thought it was just some nice marketing labeling but these wheels do cut through the wind in the flat, downhill and climpbing up as well. It has been amazing to see all the R&D, production and QC processes that go behind lun wheels. In addition to that I was amazed of their great customer service. When I purchased my wheels I originally purchased a set of R33s Hyper SE. After a few days I noticed the shiping was a bit behind schedule. I contacted them directly through their website chat just to ask why was the shipping taking longer than usual, they explained they were waiting to receive a batch of R33s SE from production and it was taking a few days more than they expected. I understood and just mentioned for them to let me know once they would be sent. However, the customer rep apologized for the delay and as compesation and without me asking for it they offered me a free upgrade to the Hyper 2023 R45s since they had those in stock to ship right away. I did want the lighter R33s in the first place but I couldnt resist the offer they gave me, I even took it just to see if they would fulfill that promise their customer service rep offered. Less than a week and a half later surprise surprise the wheels arrived home and as they notified me on the chat, I got the 2023 Hyper R45s, that was an instant $269 USD extra value they gave me at no additional cost. Winspace and Lun are truly at the front of Chinese Wheels and frames manufacturing, their great proven value, quality and overall service is what has put them in this position, all those thing is what makes a brand worth its equity. I wish and I hope nothing but more sales, success and innovation to come from them!

A 1L plastic bottle from Orange Juice, water, etc, an ounce or 2 of regular old diesel (its not as harsh as gasoline), add the chain, put the top on the bottle and shake it like your momma taught ya. Dump the used diesel on some old fire wood or in your neighbor's garden and youre done. Get another bottle and do the same with some alcohol. Next, put chain in an old toaster oven you got from the thrift store or for $5 on Marketplace, pre-heat chain to 300°F (wax has a flashpoint of about 400° so be careful not to be hotter than that). Then, drop chain into wax, which SHOULD be less than 250°F. As the chain cools down to 250, it will soak in the wax into all the opened up, hotter gaps that the pre-heat caused.

People often mixed China's knockoff frame as same as legit brand from China like Winspace, they are totally different thing. Glad to see more brands starting to show how they made their bikes. Giant, Time, Factor and now Winspace, when come to making carbon bikes and components, far east is the master. Don't really see much Western or Europe "Prestige" brand doing this as they have their production line outsourced to far east as well, Pinarello literally release a "How we painted our frame in Italy that came from far east" LMAO.

Big brands will never show that side because people will realize they are overcharging by a laaaaarge margin

Nice video. I sent my two cracked Berk carbon saddles to a factory in China for repair. I thought the saddles couldn’t be repaired, but my friend suggested trying it since it would be free if they couldn’t fix them. They sent them back three weeks later. They look good and are strong enough for me to sit on for more than a year. I can trust Chinese carbon factories. They do a great job. But in mass product, They need focus on QC. That's most important.
